SSB GIRLS ACADEMY PROGRAM

The SSB Girls Academy is a team based program that helps young athletes build individual skills and learn team concepts to prepare them for success on competitive Club and school teams.

TEAM CONCEPTS

  • WHO?

    Girls in grades 4-6*

    • Advanced grade 3’s are welcome to apply for consideration.

  • WHERE?

    Academy program will be held on at two venues; Vancouver Talmud Torad and Crofton House School.

  • WHEN?

    Our Girls Academy team will begin their season right after Spring Break and continue until late June.

EVALUATION PROCESS

To be selected for the Academy Program, interested players should attend SSB Evaluations in late February / early March for the spring term.

  • While we will look for opportunities to compete against similar level (age/skilled) teams if they become available later in the Spring, our priority is to make sure the girls gets lots of playing experience in weekly training sessions.

  • Yes, we will provide a jersey and a gear package with Split Second merchandise to each player when they join the team.
