April 2024 Academy Community Day

Over 150 of our Split Second Academy community members across the Bantam and Junior divisions came out for the inaugural Academy Community Day to launch our Spring basketball season.

Players started by grabbing their merch packages of hoodies, socks, Academy t-shirts and uniforms. .

We were joined by community partners like Treloar Physiotherapy to learn from experts about injury prevention/rehabilitation and Saltus Performance who came out to let our players test their max vertical leap and peak power output using their power plates.

We were excited to share all of the upcoming events and plans with the Academy community. From development practices, games in the Friday night league, Team and Select tournaments… this season is action packed for our players. Remember to please make sure you’ve downloaded the SSB App to stay up to date on your team’s schedule and any messages from other parents or coaches on the team chat.
